Global Academy Institute of Technology Foundation Inc is the first and the only private school in Titay, Zamboanga Sibugay that was founded in October 28, 2011 by the Alegre Family with Martina Nerosa Alegre as the founding president and with all her children as co-founder of the Foundation.

The foundation was manage by Edgar Nerosa Alegre the Eldest son of Martina Nerosa Alegre, who is now the Executive Director of the Foundation.

Global Academy Institute of Technology Foundation (GAITF) Inc. is duly accredited with the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC) and granted Special Consultative Status by the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) since July 23, 2015.
